Today, we honour the visionary educator Kurt Hahn, who died on 14 December 1974. Kurt was the founding spirit of United World Colleges. His belief that young people, when brought together, can become agents of positive change continues to guide our movement. 🌍 From the first UWC in Wales to a global family of 18 schools and colleges, Kurt’s legacy lives on in every decision to think critically, challenge the status quo and every action to build a more peaceful and understanding world.
